Q1. Do I need to be an APTA registered member to submit the form?
A1. No. There is no need to be an APTA registered member to use the Matrimonial Form. However, it is necessary that you should know the name of any registered APTA member and mention the same while filling the form.

Q2. What is the APTA marriage alliance email ID, where I should send my daughter’s biodata details, how to register for APTA Matrimony?
A2. APTA will not accept any biodata as an attachment through email. Instead use the link https://forms.gle/HJA1Bu8gXRmxKyae7to access the APTA Matrimony google form to fill in all details of boy/ girl to register.

Q3. What happens after I submit the details of my daughter for alliance? What information will we receive?
A3. After submitting your details through the APTA Matrimony form, you will receive a list of APTA prospective boys/ girls available for marriage with the details of first name, last name, age, height, complexion, education, status. birth star, thidhi and other info along with phone numbers and email Id. You then can then can filter and select accordingly before contacting the party.

Q4. Do I need to submit photos of my Daughter through the APTA Matrimony form?
A4. No, APTA Matrimony form do not have the provision of uploading the photos. Photos can be exchanged at an advanced stage of the negotiation process between both the parties. APTA recommends that boys should send the photos first to girls. (see also Q6/ A6)

Q5. I am not interested to provide my daughter’s details; can you provide me the boys list?
A5. APTA will not provide the boys list without registering your daughter details. By registering, there will be a two-fold benefit. First, you will receive the boys list so that you can select and contact them accordingly, on the other hand, boys might contact you directly if they like your profile.

Q6. Will APTA negotiate with the other party in obtaining the background information and details of the boy/ girl?
A6. No, APTA will not intervene in the negotiation process. It is your responsibility to call directly or contact through email to find out more details and further progress in the discussion process. APTA stands only as a bridge.

Q7. What if none in the matrimonial list received, matches our requirement?
A7. In case you are unable to find a suitable match within six months after receiving the list, send an email to “apta.matrimony@gmail.com” requesting for a fresh list. APTA can send you a fresh updated list.

Q8. Do I need to pay any service fee or commission if the match is settled from the list provided by APTA Matrimonial Services?
A8. No, APTA Matrimonial Services is a voluntary service and do not collect any fee or commission at any stage. Further, APTA will celebrate the success by publishing in “APTA VANI” News Letter.

Q9. Does APTA Matrimony provide marriage horoscope service?
A9. No, APTA do not have any such service.

Q10. How do we know if the information in the list provided by APTA Matrimonial Services is genuine and authentic?
A10. Since the APTA Matrimonial form link is open to public and accessible to all, APTA does not take any responsibility on the genuineness of the information. Once after you receive the list it is your responsibility to verify and cross check all the details thoroughly.

Q11. Does APTA Matrimony database have “divorced or legally eligible second marriage” persons list?
A11. Yes, APTA Matrimony list may include divorced or legally eligible second marriage persons details if registered.

Q12. What if I have to change the contents or totally delete my details after the form is submitted?
A12. Remember to save the URL immediately after submitting the APTA Matrimony form. In case if you forgot to save, send an email to apta.matrimony@gmail.com with the details along with first name, last name, email Id and phone number you mentioned in the form while submitting. Expect delay in response times as these emails are checked and responded only during weekends and spare time.

Q14. We live in India; can we still submit details via APTA Matrimonial Services Form?
A14. Yes, you can register from wherever you are in the world, provided you mention the name of any APTA Member as your reference. (see also Q1 / A1)
