Launched New website for APTA

Dear APTA Members,

We (APTA Web Committee) are excited to announce the launch of our newly designed website of American Progressive Telugu Association(APTA) is live

The new website has been built for faster, easier to navigate, and more user-friendly for both mobile and desktop versions. Also we would like to inform you all that, the website is not concluded with this version and is planned for multiple releases to keep it enhanced regularly with many updates and features along with growing APTA services.

📣 In this release Release 1.0, following are the highlights/key updates:

» APTA events, APTA executive team messages, APTA news, APTA Blogs, APTA Gallery (The crown of APTA of all time conventions pictures)

» APTA medical camps/blood drive and meet/greet celebrities pictures organized by years.

» APTA all regions festival celebrations and picnics/gatherings pictures organized by years.

» About APTA,Leadership( Executive Team, current and past committees) details, Board and committees, state coordinators details.

» APTA services (ASEP, Sthree Dhanam, Matrimonial, ATSAP, APTA NEXTGEN, Medical, entrepreneur forums,Youth, immigration, students , career ) information , process , recipients feedback , pictures provided.

» Register: Membership Levels( Student, Life , patron, grand patron) provided to take/upgrade their membership.

» Login , Edit profile and Forgot password options provided for the users to update their data.

» All membership data migrated to this website so members can login and edit their data.

» Donation links (PayPal) provided for all services and linked to APTA respective checking accounts.

» Job Board: members can login and post their job requirements. Release 2.0 version planned for expansion of this service.

» APTA services will be expanded and the inbuilt process planned to release in the Release 2.0 website.

On this special moment , I would like to thank Web Team Co-Chairs: Suneel Pasupuleti , Kiran Chikkala for spending many days to make this happen. Thank you Raj Kollipara(Membership Chair) for validating/testing membership module.

And, I Would like to thank specially Shiva Molabanti (Vice-President) who has been an integral part of building this website and assisted us in every part spending his enormous amount of time since the past year.

APTA achieved 2020 Guidestar Gold Seal of Transparency

Namaskaram🙏🙏🙏. APTA organization achieved 2020 Guidestar Gold Seal of Transparency. Please click above link for details👆. Kudos to our Board, Executive and Extended leadership team. Any success comes with discipline, meticulous planning and execution. My heartfelt thanks to Shri Kiran Palla Gaaru (Board Chair) and all Board Directors who worked with Executive team in every step of the way. I would like to thank entire executive team and 400+ Extended Leadership Team. APTA is moving in right direction with all your love and support towards community and organization.

Guidestar is the organization the ranks 11,000 Non Profit Organizations (https://www.guidestar.org/) annually with a 2.4 million global NPO database. In 2019, we were ranked at Platinum seal of transparency which is a pinnacle of all and in 2020, we just achieved GOLD SEAL which is by far the top position in our community service segment. By achieving gold status, we are the only organization with back to back gold and in couple of days, you will see that we will be at 2020 platinum level. The rankings showcase our organizational goals (bronze level certification), financial discipline (silver level certification), program outreach/mission (gold level certification) and metrics & measurement (platinum level certification)

Why this is important?
Our organization with a 12 year old legacy needs to be locally embraced for the benefit of next generation. By certifying the organization with Guidestar or Charity navigator, our credibility will be high and this opens avenues for so many organizations to partner with us. Our moral responsibility is to create a platform for our next generation so they can reap tremendous benefits like volunteer opportunities, local body recognition, government grant outreach etc…

The goal is Platinum
By having a goal to achieve platinum, we will be the ONE & ONLY community organization with fast achieved back-to-back platinum seals.

Everyone embrace the achievement and I request all to include the Gold seal (for now) in formal communication.
